12 февраля в 11:52 мск ожидаем пуск ракеты-носителя «Протон-М» со спутником «Электро-Л» №5.

Он войдёт в состав гидрометеорологической космической системы «Электро», которая обеспечивает круглосуточный мониторинг погоды с геостационарной орбиты.

Аппараты «Электро-Л» предназначены:
– для обеспечения Росгидромета оперативной информацией, необходимой при анализе и прогнозе погоды
– изучения состояния акваторий морей и океанов
– мониторинга условий для полётов авиации
– изучения состояния ионосферы и магнитного поля Земли
