Lunar PlanetVac by Honeybee Robotics, a Blue Origin company, is designed to collect lunar soil samples quickly and cost-effectively. It blasts gas into the surface to lift and capture soil in a collection chamber for analysis, using additional gas jets to sort and clean samples. This method is faster and lighter compared to robotic arms.

This was developed in collaboration with support from NASA and The Planetary Society. Lunar PlanetVac is one of the payloads on Blue Ghost Mission 1.
